St Martin Attractions
St Martin is an island of more than 87 km² in length. There are 35 beaches, between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, within a nature reserve. It is also worth mentioning that the island includes two independent countries. On the one hand, the French north called Saint-Martin, and on the other, the Dutch south, called St Martin.
Discover The Hustle And Bustle Of Orient Beach
One of the most popular beaches in St Martin, Orient Beach has a bit of everything. Whoever arrives at the right end (as was our case) is surprised by two completely different universes: on the one hand, a very traditional nudist club, and on the other, a blue water park with some options for activities.
Tours InSt. Martin
Orient Beach
Peladões of all ages walk on the beach, swim and play paddling the way they came into the world. Visitors are welcome and well received.
On the other side (separated only by a few stones) is the tourist beach. There, naturalism is no longer allowed. This second half is full of tents with comfortable loungers, drinks of all flavors and all kinds of paraphernalia that can satisfy tourists in search of fun: Jet Skis, Paraglides and even skips.
The beach is very beautiful, but remembers that it is very touristy with the right to sellers spending all the time! Still, the beach was one of our favorites in St Martin.
Observe The Planes Of Maho Beach
One of the most traditional programs in St Martin is to watch the departures and departures of planes in Maho Beach.
Talking like that seems funny or strange. After all, who in practice would lose precious vacation time to see a plane taking off and landing while on a paradise island with blue waters? The answer: it’s everybody.
The show lasts a few seconds. As soon as a plane appears on the horizon, tourists pull out their machines and position themselves (the best photos are taken on the sides of the beach) and start photographing the plane’s approach.
Maho Beach
In addition to watching the planes land, Maho is a beautiful beach, with very clear waters and that can very well be used as a beach for swimming.
Maho also has a good shopping center with a supermarket, ice cream parlor, casino, pharmacy, shops and some restaurants.
