Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m/2690ft) 6-7 hours drive

Day 2: Drive from Pohara to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedhunga (1540m/5051ft)

Day 3: Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2860m/9380ft)

Day 4: Trek from Ghorepani to Poonhill (3210m/10531ft) and descend to Tadapani (2,630m/8626ft)

Day 5: Trek from Tadapani to Chhomrong (2170m/7120ft)

Day 6: Trek from Chhomrong to Dovan (2600m/6190ft)

Day 7: Trek from Dovan to Machhapuchre Base Camp (3700m/12135ft)

Day 8: Trek from Machhapuchhre Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m/13545ft)

Day 9: Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2310m/7576ft)

Day 10: Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1780m/5840ft)

Day 11: Trek from Jhinu Danda to Naya Pul then drive to Pokhara

Best time to trek Annapurna Base Camp Trek

The best time to trek to Annapurna base camp are pre-monsoon are February to May. If you are set on trekking post-monsoon, we high recommend trekking in late September to December, furthermore, early September is also an option but we prefer the months listed above.

In Nepal, trekking never stops & people can still undergo trekking at any season or month they choose. All four season have their different features. Thus, each season gives quite a different trekking experience.

One of the major temptations of trekking in the Annapurna region is that it is much drier all year round than in the Everest region.
